Dad

My dad is probably the most sarcastic person you could ever meet (not in a bitter way). The only problem is you don't really know when he is being sarcastic or not. It is kind of his form of humor, it is a very dry sense of humor. When you are doing something he told you not to do and you go ahead and do it anyway he'll use reverse psychology. He will tell you to do exactly that thing you weren't meant to do so many times in a certain voice. You can tell when he's teasing you about something with the tone of his voice and even the look on his face, he's not directly saying it but you know he is. When he's reading the newspaper or watching golf and you ask him a question it goes right through one ear and out the other. It probably doesn't even reach one ear. And when you ask him for the ten millionth time he simply says 'Yes I know. I heard you the first time'. But when the tables are turned and a question isn't answered in a fraction of a second.. He can be the most serious man and the most stupidest and silliest person. He is so LAME and always cracking jokes. When he feels like you aren't talking to him enough he'll grab you and talk in a tone that is him trying to make you feel sorry for abandoning him. He is really loving and giving, which is shown in his job (he is the 'Director of International Programs' for World Vision in New Zealand). I know that if I was ever in trouble he would take care of me and stick by my side no matter what. He has a lot of faith. He believes it is important to give, especially to those who are in need of it (for example money), and to not be greedy. He thinks one of the worst things you can do is to be selfish, he is very selfless. Family is really important to him. He is very encouraging and really praises anything good that is done. When he is angry at you, or you are in trouble he doesn't say much to you, but that is the worst thing he can do. He is very tidy and organized person, everything has to be immaculate and he doesn't like lateness. He says he doesn't like the cats very much, but I know he does. He is always right (according to him).
